I\u2019ll take \u201creally dumb but somehow really funny spoofs\u201d for $1000, Alex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Say hello to Jeffpardy!<\/em> It\u2019s just like Jeopardy!,<\/em> except every contestant is named Jeff, every category is called Jeff, every correct answer is Jeff, and host Alex Trebek is (probably) named Jeff. Some delightful weirdo decided to edit a 2014 episode of Jeopardy!<\/em> \u2014 which did feature a \u201cJeff\u201d category \u2014 and edit it into a truly bizarre work of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

At one point, a contestant responds to one of the clues with, \u201cWhat is San Francisco?\u201d and Trebek (a.k.a Jeff) has to tell her that\u2019s wrong. Luckily, another contestant rings in with the correct response: \u201cWhat is Jeff?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Hey, we warned you this was going to be dumb. But it\u2019s worth a laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

    Forget “Potent Potables,” there’s a new Jeopardy category sweeping YouTube right now: Jeff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

    Uploaded to YouTube in September, a video called “Jeffpardy!” parodies the classic trivia game show “Jeopardy!” The video, as noted by Slate, uses footage and audio clips from a real “Jeopardy!” episode in 2014 which actually included a “Jeff” category, with each answer incorporating a famous Jeff, such as Amazon founder Bezos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

    This video takes that a step further. To start, all the contestants are named Jeff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

    The questions are about Jeff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

    And of course, the answers are about Jeff too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

    “What is San Francisco?” guesses this contestant. She is \u2014 obviously \u2014 incorrect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

    Unlike a regular episode of “Jeopardy!,” the video does not mention the episode’s corporate sponsor. We’d say Jeff is a pretty good guess though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
