Where are your priorities @LondonBreed!?\u201d he said on Twitter with a link to an article detailing an account from a father who says his baby overdosed on fentanyl after being exposed to the drug at a city playground.<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n<h2>Elon Musk accused of turning Twitter offices into bedrooms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Twitter is under investigation by city officials in San Francisco following a complaint that the company allegedly converted rooms in its headquarters to sleeping quarters, an inquiry that has drawn scorn from Elon Musk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>As of Monday, the office has \u201cmodest bedrooms featuring unmade mattresses, drab curtains and giant conference-room telepresence monitors\u201d with four to eight beds a floor, employees told Forbes. The changes appear to be part of Musk\u2019s plan for \u201chardcore Twitter\u201d in which he\u2019s demanded workers dedicate \u201clong hours at high intensity\u201d after he fired nearly half the company\u2019s workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.guim.co.uk\/img\/media\/9bb7f5e69270350d231907a4e6598293c13b31bb\/0_176_3024_3519\/master\/3024.jpg?width=445&#038;dpr=1&#038;s=none\" alt=\"An office room allegedly converted to sleeping area at Twitter\u2019s office.\" width=\"445\" height=\"517.8422619047619\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>But the San Francisco Chronicle reported the company has not applied for any permits to use portions of the building for residential purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>The San Francisco department of building inspection confirmed to several media outlets that it is investigating the matter after receiving a complaint and that it plans to inspect the company\u2019s headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.guim.co.uk\/img\/media\/69644b1330b0a7c8c7b8485fbb60a990c26855a7\/0_159_3024_3122\/master\/3024.jpg?width=445&#038;dpr=1&#038;s=none\" alt=\"Another room with a sofabed at Twitter\u2019s offices in San Francisco.\" width=\"445\" height=\"459.4212962962963\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>The department has contacted the building representatives to conduct an inspection and if the headquarters are no longer up to building code, it will issue a notice of violation.
